1.)As terrifying and devastating as it will be, why should we “look forward to the day of God…” (vs. 12a)?

2.)Why is the call to live “holy and godly lives” the only appropriate response to the day of the Lord (vs. 11)?

3.)Why must we “make every effort to be found spotless, blameless and at peace with Him” (vs. 14)?

4.)What might happen if we don’t? (see verse 17)

5.)In regards to the Day of the Lord, how may we “speed its coming” (vs. 12b)? (see Matthew 24:14)
