These are not checking the box duties; these are our living sacrifices to the Lord. They are motivated by our love of the Lord, not ways to gain favor with him.
A Good AFTERTASTE:
Each and everyone of you who claim Jesus as Savior are Priests to the Lord, and tend to the lampstand that Illuminates Jesus who Himself is the True Bread of the Presence. Therefore, Sow to the Spirit every day, with prayer, ingesting God’s word, and fellowship. Do this by yourself and with each other and keep the lamp burning brightly.
Have you ever thought of yourself as a Priest serving before the Lord? Going forward meditate on this question and ask the Holy Spirit and the Word of God guide you into renewing your mind into this role.
In what way is God leading you to illuminate Jesus to the world around you? What means are available to you today that weren’t for the early Church? How can you use them to keep the flame lit and illuminate Jesus to the world?
