Our Denomination

Alliance Church is part of a denomination called the Christian and Missionary Alliance (for more info, go to www.cmalliance.org). For over 100 years, this family of believers has been used mightily of God around the world to establish vibrant, reproducing, missionary-sending churches in some of the hardest places for the Gospel of Jesus Christ to thrive. The C&MA has more than 2,000 churches in the United States and is planting new churches every month.

We are grateful for the heritage we have received and are committed to supporting the 800 plus full-time Alliance workers around the world through our gifts to the Great Commission Fund. This fund allows the workers to minister without the added pressure of raising financial support. Every year we encourage our church members to make a personal commitment to GIVE generously to missions.

We also encourage our congregation to GO - perhaps on a short-term basis or longer. We have had the privilege of seeing several short-term teams go out from our church as well as some career missionaries. Finally, we desire to be a church that will PRAY fervently for God's work around the world.

To this end, we seek to give regular updates and reports of our district missionaries and hold two missions conferences annually (Spring and Fall).
