Do You Want A Personal Relationship With God?

The Bible makes it very clear that there is a God and that this God desires to be in relationship with us. However, there is a problem. It's called sin. Sin is anything we say, do, or think that is displeasing to God. Each of us know in our hearts that we have "sinned". Not one of us can claim to be perfect. Not one of us can claim to be without sin. But here's the problem - our sins have separated us from God! Not only that, our sins have condemned us before a holy God leaving Him no alternative but to punish us for our sins. Is there hope?

YES! The Bible says that "while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us" (Romans 5:8). What did Christ's death on the cross do for my sin and yours? The Bible teaches that Jesus was perfect because He was the Son of God. Because He was perfect, He did not have to die for His own sins. Thus, when He died on the cross He was able to pay for the sins of others. And that's exactly what He did. And God the Father declared that His sacrifice on the cross was an acceptable means for paying for our sins.

But you still need to ask. Have you ever had a time when you placed your full trust and faith in Jesus Christ alone for the forgiveness of your sins? If not, do it today!
