Alpha Groups
Who We Are
The "Alpha" team exists to help people KNOW Jesus Christ personally by examining the basic teachings of Christianity. We love to serve and host groups of people who are just beginning to explore the Christian faith or are who simply seeking to understand more deeply the basic tenets of the faith.
What We Do
At an Alpha course people may explore the Christian faith in a relaxed setting over ten thought-provoking weekly sessions, along with one day or weekend away. Each meeting time is preceded by a meal which provides that low-key, relational tone to the study. You can find out more about "Alpha" groups at www.alpha.org.
Ways to Get Involved
- Join a Group - (Next Group: April 2010)
- Lead a Group - You may serve by leading/facilitating group discussion after the main teaching is over.
- Host a Group - You may help by opening your home, providing meals, snacks, etc.
- Provide Childcare - You may serve those participating in the group(s) by providing childcare for their children.
